Bangladesh Women have been producing dominant performances at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier in Nepal, winning all their group-stage matches against the United States, Papua New Guinea, Namibia and Ireland. Their strong showing has been reflected in the latest ICC T20 rankings.

Opener Sharmin Akter Supta has made a significant leap in the batting rankings, climbing 22 places to reach 35th. She is currently the second-highest run-scorer of the tournament, having amassed 156 runs in four innings. Supta registered half-centuries in two of the toughest fixtures of the qualifiers, against the USA and Ireland.

In the batting rankings, Sobhana Mostary has also progressed, moving up 11 places to 52nd. Although she did not post any big scores, her consistency across four matches has earned her a rise in the rankings.

Spinner Rabeya Khan has improved her position in the bowling rankings, moving up one place to 14th after claiming seven wickets in four matches. Fahima Khatun has enjoyed a notable rise as well, climbing six places to reach 30th among bowlers.

Despite individual gains in the rankings, Bangladesh remain unchanged as a team in the ICC Women’s T20 rankings, holding 10th position.
