Legendary Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar remarked that Virat Kohli needs to consider himself an "ordinary player" and keep the pressure of being a star aside.
The former India and RCB captain Kohli has been struggling with his form for a long time. In this year's IPL edition, Kohli has only managed to score 107 runs in 5 innings at an average of 26.75.

Shoaib urged Kohli to pick up his performances otherwise he will not be spared and can be potentially dropped as well.
"It is a performance-based IPL franchise model. No one will be spared, not even Virat Kohli. Even he can be dropped if he does not perform. Some of the things I can't even say now. Not one but there are 10,000 things going on in his head. He is a good person, a good player and great cricketer, but I want him to just focus, on one thing at a time," he said.
"Consider yourself as a ordinary player, pick up your bat and just play. People have already started pointing fingers at Virat Kohli and it's dangerous," he added.
