BCB receives clearance for Pakistan tour

A reliable source from the BCB told Cricfrenzy, “We’ve received verbal approval from the government. Now we’re waiting for the official letter. Once we get it, we’ll discuss the details with the PCB and finalize the tour. The exact dates of the series will also be decided in consultation with them.”

Earlier this week, the BCB requested government clearance for the tour, which includes a five-match T20I series against Pakistan.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently shared a revised schedule with the BCB, moving the series opener to May 27 in Faisalabad. Initially, the first match was planned for May 25, but with the Pakistan Super League (PSL) now rescheduled to run until May 25 due to earlier disruptions, the PCB was forced to adjust the dates to avoid a clash with the PSL final.

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh team is currently in the UAE for a two-match T20I series against the hosts, with games scheduled for May 17 and 19 in Sharjah.
