Bangladesh batters drop in latest ICC ODI rankings

In the latest ICC ODI batting rankings, several Bangladesh batters have slipped down the order. Litton Das, Soumya Sarkar, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, and Tanzid Hasan Tamim have all dropped two places each.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who was previously ranked 70th, has fallen to 72nd with 462 rating points. Liton Das is now 79th with 446 points, while Soumya Sarkar sits at 87th with 437 points. Tanzid Hasan Tamim shares the same points tally and position with Soumya.

Meanwhile, in Australia’s recently concluded ODI series against South Africa, three Australian batters scored centuries in the final match—Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh, and Cameron Green. Their performances brought notable changes in the rankings as well.

Head’s blistering knock of 142 off 103 balls lifted him one spot to 11th, now holding 669 points. Marsh climbed four places to 44th after his century off 106 balls.

The biggest leap came from Cameron Green, who smashed a record-breaking century off just 47 balls—the second-fastest ODI ton for Australia. His innings propelled him to 78th place, where he now sits alongside New Zealand’s Mark Chapman and UAE’s Asif Khan.
