Rangpur Riders are reportedly in discussions with England opener Dawid Malan ahead of the next edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
A Rangpur team source told Cricfrenzy that they are in talks with Malan, but the deal has not yet been finalized.

A few days ago, Rangpur played in the Global Super League, where they finished as runners-up after losing the final against the Hobart Hurricanes. This time, they have already started building their squad for the upcoming BPL.
Meanwhile, it is still not confirmed how many teams will participate in this season’s BPL. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has also not confirmed which franchises will participate, nor has it announced the name of the event management company tasked with organizing the league.
As a result, uncertainty still surrounds the BPL franchises. The event management company will be responsible for organizing the tournament and will also play an important role in the franchise selection process.
