The Bangladesh Cricket Board's (BCB) cricket operations committee has decided to organize a four-day training camp, which will begin tomorrow [Sunday], under the supervision of Bangladesh spin-bowling coach Rangana Herath.

The training camp will take place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium's indoor and outer nets in Mirpur, where a total of 32 spinners with first-class or Dhaka club-cricket experience will sharpen their abilities.

Bangladesh is going to tour West Indies in a few days to play a full series. Herath, however, is not going with the team on this tour. He has taken leave from this tour. Before going on a leave he is set to conduct the training session.

The board is also planning to hold a few psychology sessions headed by psychologists from the Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB).

A session was supposed to be held during the Sri Lanka series but it didn't happen. But at least two sessions will take place before the team flies to the Caribbean for a full series, said Jalal Yunus, chairman of BCB's cricket operations department.

"We have already had a discussion with the ISSB in detail. We planned to hold a session on 20 May after the Chattogram Test. But because of the unbearable heat, the players needed a bit more time to recover. That's why it didn't happen," said the BCB director.

The 32-member squad for the training camp:
