The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is not in hurry to appoint a coach for the national team as they want to think the matter deeply before taking any decision.
Famous names and previous experience won't be of any work this time around, according to BCB president Nazmul Hassan Papon said on Wednesday.

On July 27, there is a board meeting of BCB. The board president said there is no chance to announce the coach’s name from this meeting even though the BCB deadline for applying the coach post ended on July 18.
"I am not sure that on July 27 board meeting I will be able to confirm anything or not. Our processing is going on in this regard. As we need not only head coach but also other coaches," Papon said.
"We are looking for a fast bowling coach, physio. We are planning to take some time to select coaches and we want to think about in a cool head. We wont select anyone based on their fame or how experienced they are. We want to take some time and assess the matter,"
Bangladesh are currently missing a head coach, fast-bowling coach, spin bowling coach and physio. Bangladesh have traveled Sri Lanka under interim coach Khaled Mahmud Sujon.
Although the board president wants some time to appoint coaches this time around. But the record says, BCB usually takes some time to appoint a coach. After Chandika Hathurusingha they took six months to appoint Steve Rhodes. Before that, they took one month to appoint Hathurusingha after Shane Jurgensen.
