Crowds likely in remaining phase of IPL 2021

The BCCI confirmed on Saturday during its SGM meeting that the second half of the IPL 2021 will be held in the United Arab Emirates. It is expected to begin on September 17 in the United Arab Emirates.
The championship game will take place on October 10th. The schedule, however, has yet to be announced. However, they are yet to announce the schedule. In another major development, the BCCI are trying their best to get crowds back into the stadiums.
As per reports in Cricbuzz, a team of BCCI officials is in Dubai to finalise arrangements with the ECB as well as the UAE government. Board secretary Jay Shah, treasurer Arun Singh Dhumal, vice-president Rajeev Shukla and joint secretary Jayesh George are understood to have landed in Dubai on Monday (May 31).
Meanwhile, the BCCI office-bearers and the Emirates Cricket Board have agreed that getting fans back into the stadium for the remaining games should not be a worry.

“The vaccinated fans can be allowed up to 50% of the [stadium] capacity” a UAE board official said.
Meanwhile, a special permission had to be availed from the UAE government for the arrival of the BCCI officials. ECB officials went to the UAE government to allow access of charter flights for their arrival.
