Khaled Mahmud apologises to the media

Khaled Mahmud Sujon is a man known for his impulsive demeanor.
At times, he lets his emotions get the better of him, which is why he apologized
to the media for being too outspoken at a press conference during Sri Lanka’s
tour of Bangladesh.
The former captain of the national team also stated that he
never refuses the requests placed upon him by the Bangladesh cricket board,
before admitting the media’s influence in the growth of the Bangladesh cricket
team.
"I never say no whenever they [BCB] give me any
duty," Mahmud told reporters quizzed whether he was still interested in
working on as Bangladesh’s acting coach.

"There was so much talk regarding the series that I
could not control my emotions and I overreacted. I didn't say anything to hurt
anybody, I spoke out of emotion... I am really sorry for that. Definitely the
media have had a huge role in Bangladesh cricket," Mahmud added.
For the final T20I series against Sri Lanka, a lot of youngsters
were given a chance and Sujon believes that every one of them have something
special about them.
"Every new player who got a chance in the last T20I
series was exciting and a future player. We have a very busy international
schedule in the coming days so you may have to fight with injuries as well as
think about your new talents. And we can only accommodate them in T20Is."
