With the ball, he bowled the fifth and tenth overs, conceding 18 runs in total without taking a wicket.

His first over was economical, giving away just 5 runs, but in his second, Daniyal struck him for two sixes. Despite his struggles, Lahore managed to defend their total successfully.

Batting first after losing the toss, Lahore scored 149 in 13 overs, thanks to Fakhar Zaman’s 36-ball 60. In response, Peshawar’s chase faltered despite a rain-shortened target.
Shakib bowled early to help restrict momentum and returned later only to be punished by Daniyal. Eventually, Peshawar folded for 123, crashing out of the tournament.
