Abahani win for the sixth consecutive time

The two eternal rivals started their game with Mohammedan
winning the toss and bowling first. They started well as they took the wicket
of U19 captain Saif Hassan, who could only make two runs.
After that, however, Anamul Haque Bijoy and Nazmul Hossain
Shanto picked up the innings to form a solid partnership. Bijoy, in particular,
continued his fine form and scored yet another 50 in the tournament.
He racked up 63 runs before losing his wicket to Taijul Islam.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Mithun raced to 47 before getting run out. Nasir, however,
kept up the good work done by Bijoy and Mithun as he has scored 67 from 73
balls.
Mashrafe Mortaza, on the other end, smashed a 17-ball 26 to
ensure a standard total of 259 runs.

For the bowlers, Mohammad Azim took 3 wickets while Subashis
Roy, Bipul Sharma, Qazi Onik, Taijul Islam and Enamul Haque got a wicket each.
In response, Mohammedan never really had a chance. The
Talukdar brothers opened, but Jony fell after scoring a single run. Indeed,
almost every player fell quickly with only three players reaching double
figures.
Rony Talukdar, Irfan Sukkur and Raqibul Hasan scored 35, 40
and 28 to help the team overcome the 100 run barrier as Mohammedan ended up
with 147 runs on board. Mashrafe Mortaza and Mehidy Hasan Miraz took three wickets,
while MS Gony took two and Sunzamul and Taskin Ahmed took a scalp each to
complete the demolition.
