Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi won the toss and elected to field first. In what might seem like a bad decision now, Doleshwar openers Imtiaz Hossain and Liton Das started brilliantly by putting a 54 runs partnership before the latter got out for 37.

Liton Das continued batting beautifully and made 69 before Shykat Ali caught him in front of the wicket. Fazle Mahmud carried on the great the work laid out by the openers as he scored a magnificent 120 not-out from 101 balls.

His glorious innings took the team’s total to 293 with the loss of 6 wickets. He was well supported by Zohaib Khan and Mohammad Arafat, who scored 38 and 14 respectively.

For the bowlers. Robiul Haque took two wickets while Abu Jayed, Nazmul Islam, Sohag Gazi and Shykat Ali got one wicket each.
