Speaking to the media at the airport, Taskin expressed his eagerness to return to the field and contribute to the team's success.

Taskin acknowledged the emotional toll of being out due to injury but accepted it as part of a fast bowler’s journey in international cricket.

“For any player, it’s heartbreaking to miss games due to injury. But this is part of life—especially for fast bowlers who often deal with injuries,” he said.

“By the grace of Allah, I’m back now and very happy about it. I hope to do something good for the team.”

Looking ahead to the ODIs and T20Is, Taskin is confident in Bangladesh’s chances.

“Wins and losses are part of the game, but Insha’Allah we will give our best in both the ODI and T20 series,” he added.

Taskin’s return is expected to boost Bangladesh’s pace attack as they aim for a strong showing in both white-ball formats against Sri Lanka.
