Rahul Dravid will lead India for the white-ball tour of Sri Lanka in July. Aside from Dravid, the coaching staff will include National Cricket Academy members from Dravid's team (NCA).

According to Cricbuzz, the Indian white-ball team will travel to Sri Lanka and will practice one week before the first ODI. The BCCI considered holding a camp in Bangalore, but the worsening Covid situation and continued lockdown have ruled that out.

According to the Sri Lanka Ministry of Health, fully vaccinated people from India, Vietnam, South Africa, and South America must be quarantined for one day. These rules are in effect until June 30. According to the order, the guidelines may change after June 30, and different rules may be in place by the time the Indian team departs for Sri Lanka.

There is no immediate information on the date of the selection committee meeting, but it is expected to take place soon. Shikhar Dhawan could be given the captaincy, while Shreyas Iyer's availability remains unknown.

The series between India and Sri Lanka will start on July 13 with an ODI match. The remaining two ODIs of the series will be played on July 16 and 18. The three T20 matches will be held on July 21, 23 and 25 respectively. All matches will be played at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
