Bangladesh have whitewashed West Indies in a three-match ODI series after corona pandemic as they are preparing to play two-match Test series against the Caribbean, which will start on February 3.  However, Right hand batsman Yasir Ali Rabbi, a regular performer in domestic cricket is in the preliminary squad for the Test series and he is delighted to share dressing room with senior players.

The top-order batsman said this is the first time he is training with Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah Riyad. He had never met one of them before. This cricketer from Chittagong is learning something from everyone day by day. Rabbi is especially inspired by the way Shakib Tamim are still working so hard and playing successfully in international cricket.

"Especially the way Tamim Bhai and Shakib Bhai abide by the rules, I always talk to them about how you always keep yourself ready. Now, in fact, the game becomes very difficult if you do not prepare yourself in that way. So I am trying to take good things from everyone.” Yasir said in a video message, sent by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

BCB has not announced the final team in white dress yet. Mahmudullah Riyad has been dropped from the preliminary squad for the Test series. If Rabbi is in the final team of the Test squad, he will get the other three stars [Shakib, Tamim and Mushfiq] as his companion. Growing up seeing Shakib and Tamim play, and now sharing the dressing room with them is very much delightful for him.

“Yes, I am very much happy to have them with me in the Test practice sessions. Honestly I grew up watching Tamim bhai, Shakib bhai playing cricket. I'm really thrilled that I can't express myself in words.” he added.
