Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan Papon announced bonus for the players if they can win the ongoing two-Test series against New Zealand.
Following the World Cup debacle Bangladesh cricket team made a comeback with a historic win over New Zealand in the Test format at home.
"They didn't ask about it [bonus]. But they were hoping for an announcement," Papon told the media during an event in a city hotel.
Papon stated the players must either secure draw or win the second Test to receive the bonus.
"One of them [players] asked about it [bonus]. I said they will get it if they win the series. If they win the series, they will get a big bonus, no doubt about that," said the BCB president.
Bangladesh and New Zealand are scheduled to play the second Test which will begin on December 6.
