Bangladesh batter Nazmul Hossain Shanto was confident and willing to do something memorable in the upcoming Test series against South Africa, starting from March 31.
"I did well in batting in Tests, there were two or three big innings. I was able to contribute to the team. I’ve that confidence. If I get the opportunity, I will go on the field with that confidence and do something good,” said Shanto.

South Africa has been a nightmare for Bangladesh in senior cricket until the recent ODI series win. Nazmul wants to replicate the ODI result in the Test series.
"Our mentality has changed. We didn’t had the confidence that we could win outside the country. But now we believe that we can play well outside the country. I'm not saying we'll win if we play. But we have developed the confidence that if we keep the process right and play according to the plan, then it is possible to win. The team's attitude, self-confidence, has improved a lot in this place, "
Shanto was spotted working on his bowling technique with Bangladesh spin bowling coach Rangana Herath. He is determined to help the squad with his bowling.
“It's not like I was very serious about bowling. I have been working on bowling with Rangana Herath for the last six-seven months. With the captain (Mominul Haque) assisting. If I can bowl 5-10 overs in Tests then it will be good for the team,”
