"Litton is a brilliant tactician"- Salahuddin backs new T20I captain
12 hrs agoBangladesh T20 captain Mahmudullah Riyad rued over poor fielding by the Tigers and admitted that they need to do something to improve in this section.
Bangladesh missed three catches in the second T20I which cost the Tigers the match as they were defeated by massive 8 wickets.
Nasum Ahmed missed the first catch in his very first over followed that Mohammad Naim and Afif Hossin missed catches from Usman Ghani, who got away twice off Mahedi Hasan’s consecutive overs.

"We need to find something to work on (the fielding), it's been bothering us, we need to improve on fielding," said Mahmudullah.

Mahmudullah was disappointed, said the batters were not being able to put good partnerships and as a result, they failed to set a good target.
"It was a good wicket to bat on, we didn't put enough partnerships. Very disappointed with the way this game turned up. It wasn't a 150-160 wicket, but 140 was gettable. We didn't have partnerships upfront, so going forward we need to work on these areas. Me and Mushy (Mushfiqur Rahim) were trying to get a partnership, we were trying to take on their bowlers," the skipper added.
Bangladesh won the ODI series 2-1 but had to share the T20I series 1-1.
