Former Australia cricketer Mark Waugh has slammed Bangladesh’s poor batting display after the Aussies skittled out Bangladesh for 73 runs in their last T20 World Cup game.
Bangladesh have lost all of the Super 12 matches and witnessed a second straight batting collapse after they were bowled out for 84 in the previous match against South Africa.
Former opening batter Waugh said Bangladesh offered nothing with the bat and he compared their performance with third-grade cricket.

“That is an embarrassing display … It’s supposed to be a T20 World Cup and you wouldn’t find that in third grade in the park, that sort of batting,” he said on Fox Cricket.
In pursuit of 74, Australia chase down the total in just 6.2 overs for the loss of just two wickets.
It was Bangladesh’s lowest total of the tournament of this year and the second lowest ever T20I total, ahead of the 70 it conjured against New Zealand in the previous World Cup.
