Afghanistan Under-19 cricket team are set to tour Bangladesh for five ODIs and one four-day match, scheduled to be played in Sylhet from September, confirmed by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
Afghanistan U-19 team will arrive in Dhaka on August 29 and have to stay in quarantine before they start their training in Sylhet.

Bangladesh and Afghanistan will face each other in the first ODI series which will begin on September 5. Following the ODIs the teams will play only four days matches. The series will conclude on September 20.
Previously, the U-19 team led by Akbar Ali won the title of U-19 World Cup by defeating India in 2020. However, the new batch could not take the field due to the corona pandemic, although BCB had organized camps for them several times.
This would be the Under-19 side's first assignment against Afghanistan. After the Afghanistan series, the Pakistan U-19 team are expected to visit Bangladesh.
