Apu focuses on performance, not nagin dance

Bangladesh spinner Nazmul Islam Apu is not mulling about performing any new celebration style or his traditional Nagin dance as he solely focuses on improving his skill and thereby makes his way back into the national team.
Apu is famous for his unique ‘ Nagin Dance’ celebration, which got mixed reaction from the fans.
In the Nidahas trophy, this celebration was legendary. Players used to taunt each other with the ‘ Nagin Dance’ celebration. So, when Nazmul Islam Apu was asked that whether he will do any new celebration in the near future he said, he is not thinking about that right now rather he is focusing on improving his skills.
“I haven't thought about that yet. I only worked with my skills, apart from that I didn’t think about anything,” Nazmul Islam Apu told Cricfrenzy.
Apu hasn’t played in international cricket since November 2018. He is waiting for his chance to get into the team.
The left-arm spinner has worked on his variation and mastered Carom ball. He also talked with the Video analyst of the Bangladesh team who told him to prepare himself to get back into the team and bowl at the new ball.
“I have talked with the video analyst too; he said only you and Shakib are the two bowlers who can bowl with the new ball. So get prepared so that you can get into the team,” Apu remarked.
