I will talk in the team meeting: Shakib

Bangladesh skipper Shakib al Hasan said that he would not like to reveal team talks out of the dressing room and insisted he prefers to keep that privacy between the players as well.
Shakib is expected to lead the ODI squad soon after serving as the deputy of Masharfe bin Mortaza as the latter is expected to retire soon from international cricket that would pave way for Shakib to take over the helm, who is already leading Test and T20 squad.
Bangladesh didn’t fulfill their expectations in this World Cup. They failed to play well as a team. They missed some golden opportunities in some matches which cost Bangladesh. As a result of those, Bangladesh won just three matches among the eight World Cup matches.

The ace all-rounder of Bangladesh doesn’t wanna talk about team’s lacking in front of the media. He said, if it’s required to talk about team’s lacking he will do that in the team meeting not in front of media.
“ These things should be talked in the dressing room not in front of media. If the opportunity comes and I have to talk about these issues, I will do that in the team meeting,” said Shakib when asked about team’s fielding.
Bangladesh started well in the World Cup by beating South Africa in their opening match. Tigers also defeated West Indies and Afghanistan. Bangladesh lost against New Zealand, Australia and India in close fought encounters. Bangladesh’s poor fielding was the pinnacle reason behind losing these matches.
Wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim missed a clear cut run out opportunity of New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson. In that match Williamson played an important innings of 40 runs and structured a partnership of 105 runs, which was the match turning point of the match.
Sabbir Rahman dropped David Warner against Australia. After that Warner played a scintillating innings of 166 runs. Tamim Iqbal dropped Rohit Sharma at nine runs against India.
Getting new life Rohit played sublime innings of 104 runs. In that match, Bangladesh lost by 28 runs and with that defeat, Bangladesh buried their semifinal dream.
