At the beginning of the meeting, Mohsin Naqvi expressed deep condolences—on behalf of Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif—for the recent casualties in the tragic plane crash near Milestone College in Uttara, Dhaka.
Following this, a constructive discussion took place focusing on strengthening bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Pakistan. Both sides explored multiple areas of mutual cooperation.
Particular emphasis was placed on expanding collaboration in the field of sports, especially in cricket, hockey, and kabaddi. The two sides also expressed a shared interest in working together to enhance youth skill development, technical training, and employment-generating initiatives.
Further discussions were held on expanding cooperation in higher education, including scholarship programs and academic exchange of experience and opportunities.
The meeting also covered the importance of renewable energy, with a special focus on solar power innovations and the exchange of practical knowledge in this sector.
At one point during the meeting, Naqvi extended a formal invitation to the Honorable Advisor to visit Pakistan.
Pakistan’s head coach, Mike Hesson, was also present at the meeting.
