After securing a historic 8-run victory — their first-ever T20 series win against Pakistan — the Bangladesh team, led by Litton Das, dedicated the win to the victims and those injured in the tragic incident.
During the post-match presentation, Litton expressed the team’s heartfelt condolences:
“What happened yesterday in Bangladesh was extremely tragic and heartbreaking. We want to dedicate this win to those who were affected by the incident and to the lives that were lost,” he said.
