Understanding that the UAE players are well-acquainted with Sharjah's conditions, Litton stressed the need for the Tigers to adapt quickly and focus on playing their best cricket.

“We’ll try to play good cricket. UAE are a good side at home; they know the conditions well. But we also have a good team, and we’ll try to adapt and play quality cricket,” Litton said during the pre-series press conference.
Bangladesh's performances in limited-overs formats have long struggled to reflect the often-mentioned goal of “positive cricket.” In recent years, especially in T20Is, the Tigers have trailed behind emerging sides like Afghanistan, often losing momentum through slow scoring or wayward bowling.
However, Litton has made it clear that the team’s main priority is to win both matches. He also expects the squad to showcase the areas they’ve been working on in training.

“Our first priority is obviously to win both matches. At the same time, we want to fulfill the aspects we’ve been working on in the past few weeks — whether in batting, bowling, or fielding,” he said.

Emphasizing a fearless mindset, Litton urged his teammates not to overthink and to express themselves freely on the field. He believes that if players enjoy the game and focus on the process rather than the result, success will follow naturally.
“There will be only one message — feel free. In this format, too much thinking often hampers performance. I want each player to play as freely as possible and enjoy the game. If we stop obsessing over the result and instead focus on maintaining the right process, the results will come in due time,” he concluded.
