Shadman scored a gritty 120 off 181 balls, registering his second Test century after four years, while Bijoy made 39, Mominul Haque added 33.
In the final session, Mushfiqur Rahim and Najmul Hossain Shanto added 65 runs for the fourth wicket, keeping Bangladesh in control.
However, signs of a batting collapse soon followed. At the score of 259, Shanto was dismissed for 23. Within the next 20 runs, Jakerr Ali, Mushfiqur, and Nayeem Hasan were all sent back to the pavilion.
