Shakib provides MASTUL Foundation a hand with an ambulance

Premier all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has extended his helping hand towards the MASTUL Foundation at a time while an ambulance has become an essential ingredient during the escalating contagion of the coronavirus pandemic in the country and the world as well.
Shakib has donated an ambulance through his The Shakib Al Hasan Foundation to the MASTUL Foundation after which they have decided jointly that the ambulance service should be provided to the patients with COVID-19 as soon as possible.
The MASTUL Foundation is a non-profitable and social organization, registered by the government of Bangladesh. MASTUL has its own school and has been working in 22 schools in 12 districts, supporting 1100 under-privileged and disadvantaged, poor students with all the educational materials including school bags, shoes, socks, books and notebooks.
They are trying to ensure the health, nutritious food, children’s rights and basic needs of them through their initiative under which there is a “MASTUL Shelter Home” for parent-less / orphaned children where they give shelter to about 21 children.
MASTUL has a Shelai training center as well, through which the disadvantaged women are being taught functional skills. Apart from this, 60 people have been made self-reliant through self-reliance projects.

The funerals and burial of the deceased from this COVID-19 disaster are also being conducted by MASTUL Foundation. MASTUL has free ambulance services and health services for the helpless and poor.
The work of MASTUL Foundation was brought to the attention of Shakib Al Hasan by Barrister Chisti Iqbal, Adviser to the Shakib Al Hasan Foundation (SAHF) after which he quickly decided to support the MASTUL Foundation to expedite the work.
The popular online fund-raising campaign ‘Auction for Action’ invited the MASTUL Foundation to provide details about their work in the COVID 19 crisis.
The founder Kazi Reaz Rahman said that at present they have completed the burial of 19 deceased corona patients by having rented an ambulance with their own funds, which was becoming quite difficult for them.
He added that if they had their own ambulance, they would be able to assist Corona patients and also in the burial of the corona victims more easily.
The moment the left-handed all-rounder heard about the activities he came forward and provided an ambulance in the aid of MASTUL Foundation.
MASTUL Foundation came down to their official Facebook page and thanked Shakib for his noble humanitarian work. Shakib Al Hasan has also come down to his Facebook handle and posted about the work of MASTUL Foundation and urged others to come and provide help to them in this work.
“Alhamdulillah, we have come before you with this service. If you’re willing, you can also extend a helping hand to this service of MASTUL Foundation during this time of crisis in our country,” Shakib Al Hasan wrote in his Facebook post.
“Come forward with burial cloths, PPE, oxygen cylinders, masks, gloves and you too can stand with us in rising above this calamity in our country,” he added.
