NCL TIER 2 R2: Murad shines with the ball as Ctg lead by 178 runs

Rajshahi Division beat Barishal Division by an innings and 9 runs in first match of the Tier 2 in Bangabandhu National Cricket League (NCL). On the other match Chattogram Division faced Dhaka Metro in Cox Bazar.

Chattogram Division lead by 178 runs after the end of third day game, Hasan Murad shined on this day as he bagged five wickets for the team.
Chattogram’s opener Sadikur Rahman (19) and Mahmudul Hasan Joy (20) remained unbeaten at the close of the day and will continue on the fourth day. Apart from him Mehedi Hasan Rana got a couple of wickets and Nayeem Hasan got one wicket.
Earlier, in reply of Chattogram’s 402 runs, Dhaka Metropolis’s innings ended on 267 runs in the first innings. Opener Zahiduzzaman scored 71 off 212 balls with 8 boundaries while Shamsur Rahman made 68 runs. All-rounder Sharifullah added 38 runs with the tail-enders.
