NCL TIER 1 R2: Tushar’s 32th ton suppressed by Mugdha’s six wickets

4 teams in the second round of the first Tier of 22nd Bangabandhu National Cricket League (NCL) are fighting. Rangpur Division is playing against Khulna Division at Rangpur Cricket Garden. On the other match, Sylhet Division is facing the Dhaka Division at the Sheikh Kamal Stadium in Cox's Bazar.
Rangpur Division Vs Khulna Division
Rangpur’s Mukidul Islam Mugdha took 6 wickets and Khulna were bowled out for 221 in the first innings. At the end of the first day, Rangpur lost 3 wickets and scored 103 runs. Earlier, Khulna won the toss and chose to bat.
Mugdha dismissed Rabiul Islam Robi and Imrul Kayes in the first two balls of the first over. The pace bowler then returned Amit Majumder who scored 4 runs. Tushar Imran took the helm of the team at number four as he scored his 32nd century in first-class cricket. Tushar scored 116 runs and he was also a victim of Mugdha. Mugdha took 6 wickets, while Ariful Haque and Nabin Islam took 2 wickets each.
In reply to 221 runs, Rangpur went down to bat in the first innings and trailed by 118 runs with 7 wickets in hand. Tanvir Haider with 29 runs and Nasir Hossain with 19 runs will bat tomorrow.
Sylhet Division Vs Dhaka Division
After losing the toss, Sylhet batted well and got off to a good start, thanks to Zakir Hasan’s century. At the end of the day, they lost 6 wickets and scored 282 runs. However, they lost 3 wickets in the first 50 runs. After that, Centurion Zakir made a partnership of 155 runs with Jaker Ali.
Zakir returned with 159 runs, while Jaker picked up his half century. He returned with 67 runs. Asadullah Al Ghalib is unbeaten with 24 runs. Shubhagat Home took 3 wickets for Dhaka.
