Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) opener Ajinkya Rahane has been ruled out of the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to a hamstring injury.
As per a report in Cricbuzz.com, Rahane will also miss the lone test match which is to be held in July at Birmingham against England.

According to the report, Rahane will soon report to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) and require rehab which may need more than four weeks.
Rahane will leave the KKR bubble on Monday evening. The 33-year-old did not have a great IPL as he just scored 133 runs in 7 matches.
Rahane failed to perform as per expectation, the latter scored 133 runs in seven games of IPL.
The right-handed batter was bought by KKR at the base price of 1 crore in the IPL auction.
