BCB confirmed in a statement: “As per the decision of BCB Cricket Operations, Mustafizur Rahman has been granted NOC to participate in IPL 2025 from May 18 to 24.”

Mustafizur is set to play in Bangladesh’s first T20I against the UAE on May 17 in Sharjah but will miss the second match on May 19 to join Delhi Capitals.

He previously played for the same franchise in the 2022 and 2023 seasons, taking 9 wickets in 10 matches.
Delhi Capitals have three matches left in the group stage—against Punjab Kings, Gujarat Titans, and Mumbai Indians.
Currently fifth in the points table with 13 points from 11 matches, they are still in contention for the playoffs. Winning two may give them a chance, but three wins will almost certainly seal a spot in the top four.
