The Nidahas Trophy is set to commence from the 6^th of March, which is tomorrow, and the Indian team have arrived in Sri Lanka to take on the hosts for the first game of the tournament. The Men in Blue come to Sri Lanka as favourites to win the tri-nation series that includes host nation Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

While India might have sent in a second string side led by Rohit Sharma, they are still a formidable unit without their captain Virat Kohli and prime bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah. India have placed faith in new players like Vijay Shankar and youngsters like Rishabh Pant to help the side to glory in Sri Lanka.

However, they will face a rejuvenated Sri Lanka and a wounded tiger in Bangladesh, who have a point to prove after losing to Sri Lanka at home. The latter have also arrived to the nation to take part in the series.
