Shoaib Akhtar announced as advisor

Shoaib Akhtar has always been regarded as someone who speaks
his mind out and never shies away from a battle. In what seems like a great
news for Pakistan cricket, the former Rawalpindi Express, who holds the record for
the fastest ball ever recorded at 100 miles-per-hour, has been assigned the
role of an advisor to the chairman of Pakistan cricket.
Announcing this on his Twitter, the head of PCB Najam Sethi
also revealed that the pacer will also take the role of the board’s brand ambassador.
Meanwhile, the former pacer displayed his gratitude from the
microblogging site. “Looking forward to work with @najamsethi and #pcb to take
PAKISTAN cricket to the next level,” he wrote on his Twitter.

He also added: “[I am] honored to be chosen for these
positions in @TheRealPCB, will work with same passion as i did when
playing. Thank you once again.”
Given that Akhtar isn’t someone who minces his words, Pakistan cricket can expect him to give his honest opinion about pressing matters.
