Despite losing the Test series and becoming join champion of the Tri-nation T20 series with the help of rain, Mahmudullah Riyad said they have nothing to learn from Afghanistan.
Bangladesh lost the only Test match to Afghanistan with a huge margin of defeat of 224 runs in Chattogram. Though they won the last match In the tournament, lost the first match in the round-robin league.
‘’I do not think we have got anything to learn from Afghanistan. We make too many mistakes. That’s why the result was not good for us,” Mahmudullah said.
Though Mahmudullah praised Afghanistan’s fighting spirit, he blamed their own mistake in the matches that has led to their defeat
Mahmudullah said, ‘’We have to give them credit. They have played well. At the same time, we played bad cricket.”
The final could not happen due to consistent drizzle. Both teams had to share the trophy as there was no reserve day for the final.
