During the match, Imrul posted a status stating that Miraz has the potential to be the next Shakib due to his all-round abilities. He emphasized why Miraz holds the ability to be compared with the all-time greatest all-rounder.
“I highly rate Miraz because of his unwavering confidence that sets him apart from others. He can easily change the game. I believe he will serve as a great role model for future generations. I once told him that you have to carry the team forward and you will captain the Bangladesh team,”
“Miraz is a complete package. He’s absolutely a talent and God-gifted. As you can see Shakib he has the ability to do well in every department. Obviously its a huge achievement for us,”
Imrul urged the team to focus on maintaining quality and standards, and to not worry about opponents but rather look forward.
