Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib al Hasan have returned to Dhaka on Sunday owing to personal reasons after the Super-4 match against Sri Lanka of the Asia Cup.
However, they will re-join the squad for the last match of Super 4 against India which is scheduled on September 15. The duo are expected to fly to Sri Lanka on September 13.
Mushfiqur returned to country to be with his wife as they are expecting their second child. However, Shakib's reason is still unknown.
The team has no work in Colombo for three days from today. Coach Chandika Hathurusingha has announced three days off to say no work. The team will not practice on the field for these three days.
Bangladesh lost their first Super Four game against Pakistan by seven wickets and suffered 21-run defeat against Sri Lanka.
