Fortune Barisal will face Rangpur Riders tomorrow [Sunday] in the first eliminator as Comilla Victorians will face Sylhet Strikers in the first qualifier on the same day of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The teams are bringing in proven stars to increase their strength at the last moment.

English all-rounder Moeen Ali joined Comilla Victorians yesterday [Friday, while Fortune Barisal have brought Sri Lankan batter Bhanuka Rajapaksa. The teams have confirmed the arrival of these stars on their respective Facebook pages.

Posting Moeen's photo on Facebook, Comilla wrote, 'English star all-rounder Moeen Ali has joined Comilla Victorians at the team hotel in BPL. Welcome Moeen Ali to the Comilla Victorians family.'

Comilla finished the league stage in second position with 18 points after winning 9 out of 12 matches.

Now, if they win another match, the team will reach the last stage of retaining the title. But even if they lose, they will have a chance. In that case they have to win the second qualifier.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Rizwan has returned to Pakistan. However, before the important match, Comilla increased their strength by bringing Moeen.
