Rangpur Riders defeated Dhaka Dominators by two wickets on Friday in Mirpur as they completed the final four lineup for the Bangladesh Premier League and eliminated the team from the capital city from the playoff race.
Despite Rony Talukdar's 34 and Nurul Hasan's outstanding 61 off just 33, Rangpur Riders were in a very risky situation against a Mirpur low-scorer.
Haris Rauf ultimately played the decisive role in his team's victory over the Dhaka Dominators by advancing the ball for a boundary.

While defending 130, Nasir Hossain (4/20) kept things interesting. In the penultimate over, he got rid of Shamim Hossain and Rakibul Hasan, conceding just one run in the process, forcing Muktar Ali to defend four runs from the final over.
Rauf ended the match with a boundary after receiving the strike from Azmatullah Omarzai, who had run a two and a single.
Player of the match Nurul struck seven fours and three sixes as Rangpur reached their target with three balls to spare.
Bottom side Chattogram Challengers also bow out following Rangpur's victory, while Khulna Tigers became the first team to exit the ninth edition after losing to Fortune Barishal.
