Malik completes 500 matches in T20 cricket

Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik completed his 500 T20 matches in the history of cricket. He achieved the feat during the match between Dhaka Dominators and Rangpur Riders in BPL.
Some cricketers' careers have ended even before scoring 600 runs in T20 cricket, but the veteran all-rounder, who made his debut in international cricket in 2005, has played 500 T20 matches.

Malik has played in almost every franchise league around the globe, including 26 teams (Barbados Tridents, Central Punjab (Pakistan), Delhi Daredevils, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Hobart Hurricanes, Islamabad, Jaffna Kings, Jaffna Stallions, Jozi Stars, Karachi Kings, Karachi Whites, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi and others.
Malik featured in four franchises in BPL including Comilla Victorians, Rajshahi Royals, Rangpur Riders, and Chittagong Vikings.
The 41-year-old has 12280 runs with a highest of 95* and 162 wickets in his vault.
West Indies' Keiron Pollard has appeared in the most number of matches in T20 cricket, he has played 614 matches, DJ Bravo (556) and Malik is on third of the list (500*). Followed by Universe Boss Chris Gayle (463) and Bopara (439).
