The Everest Premier League (EPL) match between Bhairahawa Gladiators and Pokhara Rhinos has been abandoned due to rain at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Opting to bat first, Rhinos posted 65 runs for seven wickets in 10.1 overs, when the official called off the match. Rhinos was in batting disaster from the very beginning as they lost 5 wickets for 12 runs.

Asela Gunaratne and Vivek Yadav added 26 runs for the sixth wicket. However, Gunaratne played a stormy inning of 23 runs from 16 balls.

However, he was returned with a brilliant throw by Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal.

Before the rain, Kesrick Williams also returned for naught. Yadav was unbeaten on 16 off 16 balls and Vikram was unbeaten on 7 runs off 7 balls.

Durgesh Gupta took three wickets while Dhamika Prasad, Avinash Bohra and Tul Bahadur got one wicket each for Bhairahawa.
