Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed on Friday [July 2] said that Bangladesh needs to give their best in all three formats to get a good result against Zimbabwe.
Taskin admitted that the Tigers will need to be at their best if they want to better their away records against Zimbabwe.
“We have come to play the whole series. We have to play the normal game here. We have Tests, then ODIs and T20s ... we have to prepare ourselves according to each format. But now I am only concentrating on Test cricket and working with patience and skills,” said Taskin.
“Hopefully everything will go well, something good will happen. We can’t afford to take anything lightly. Although, we have won most of the matches against Zimbabwe so far. Every match starts anew, every day is new. Every time you have to bowl in a new way, you have to bat. It will not be easy. But we are confident, if we play well we will win the series again InnshaAllah,” he added.
The series will begin with the one-off Test on July 7 while three ODIs will take place on July 16, 18 and 20 and the T20Is will be played on July 23, 25 and 27, respectively.
