DPDLT20: Mizanur hits first ton of this edition DPL

Brother’s Union captain Mizanur Rahman hit the first hundred of Dhaka Premier League at BKSP-4 Ground, Savar. However, the match between Brothers Union and Sheikh Jamal was abandoned after the first innings due to rain.

Brother’s scored 133 runs losing two wickets in 17 overs, Mizanur completed his half-century in 31 balls and then smashed the century playing 65 balls. He was unbeaten on 100*off 65 deliveries with 13 boundaries and three sixes.


Then Zahiduzzaman scored 25 runs, after his dismissal in the 17th over of the game the match was called off. Zahiduzzaman and Mizanur made the highest-run partnership of 124 of this year's DPL.


The first century came in the 63rd match of DPL in this year. Earlier, Abahani Limited opener Munim Shahriar played the highest innings of 92 runs in this year's event. Mahmudul Hasan Joy of Old DOHS was unbeaten on 85 runs.

Meanwhile, Prime Doleshwar faced Old DOHS at BKSP's No. 3 ground which was also abandoned due to rain. Old DOHS won the toss and elected to bat, they scored 110 runs losing 3 wickets in 15 overs. After that, the game did not resume, as a result, the match was later declared abandoned.
