Legends of Rupganj defeated Partex Sporting club in the low-scoring match by 21 runs in Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League at BKSP-4, Savar.

Chasing the target of 132 runs set by Legends of Rupganj, the opponent Partex scored 110 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. Partex were losing wickets at regular intervals throughout the innings, the captain Dhiman Ghosh and Nazmul Hossian Milon managed to put up a partnership of 36 runs for the sixth wicket.

Dhiman was out for 21 runs off 23 balls and Milon scored 21 of 21 balls. Abbas Musa (17), Rajibul Islam (17), and Joyraz Sheik (15) played short innings for Partex. Mohammad Shahid took a couple of wickets, while Quazi Onik, Sunzmul Islam and Nabil Samad picked up one wicket each.

Earlier, Rupganj won the toss and elected to bat first, they scored 131 runs losing six wickets in 20 overs. Rupganj were in trouble as the batters were struggling to make runs. Sunzamul Islam played a knock of 30 runs faced 23 balls, hitting two sixes.

Then Naeem Islam remained unbeaten on 29 runs off 20 balls with one four and two sixes. For Partex, Shahadat Hossain, Rajibul Islam took two wickets each and Milon got one wicket.
