DPDLT20: Prime Bank thrash Brothers Union, Mohammedan beat Khelaghar in super over

Prime Bank beat Brothers Union by 6 wickets (D/L Method) in Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League T20 at Sher e Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur.
Due to rain, the match was reduced to 12 overs. Prime Bank chased down the target of 84 runs, losing three wickets with 2 balls in hand. Opener Rony Talukdar was out for a duck, but Tamim Iqbal cruised his innings to 29 runs with three fours and one six.
Anamul Haque scored 15, before getting caught by Nuruzzaman off Alauddin Babu. Then, Mohammad Mithun, who scored 28 runs and Rubel Mia (4) sailed the team to victory. For Brothers’ Alauddin bagged three wickets and Rahatul Ferdous got one.

Earlier, Brother’s scored 74 runs losing three wickets in 12 overs while batting first. Opener Mizanur Rahman and Junaid Siddique started well but Mizanur departed early scoring 13 runs. While Junaid Siddiqe played an innings of 24 runs off 28 balls with two boundaries.


Myshukur Rahaman (15) and Alauddin Babu (14) remained unbeaten in the end. Shoriful Islam took a couple of wicket and Nahidul Islam got one wicket.
Mohammedan vs Khelaghar
Mohammedan Sporting Club has confirmed the Super League of Dhaka Premier League by defeating Khelaghar Samaj Kallyan Samiti in the Super Over in their encounter at BKSP-4, Savar.
The rain-affected match came down to 10 overs. Mohammedan batted first and scored 88 runs losing 9 wickets. In reply, Khelaghor could not score more than 88 runs in the allotted 10 overs. The match ended in a super over. Where Khelaghar lost 1 wicket and scored 13 runs in the super over and Mohammedan reached the target effortlessly.
Earlier, Mohammedan’s Abdul Mazid played a stormy innings of 57 runs off 30 balls with five fours and four sixes. While others could not even cross the double figure, the second highest scorer was Shamshur Rahman, who scored 8 runs. For Khelaghar, Ifran Hossain displayed his best bowling figure, he bowled 2 overs spent 9 runs for four wickets.
