Legends of Rupganj batted first after losing the toss at BKSP in the Dhaka Premier League on Monday and set a target of 133 runs. Gazi Group lost 3 wickets to achieve the target with 13 balls to spare.

Gazi got off to a great start even though they lost the first wicket by 21 runs. Mominul Haque and opener Soumya Sarkar made 82-run second-wicket partnership smooth the way for the team's easy victory. Soumya made 53 off 43 balls with four fours and two sixes. Muminul contributed 34 runs to build the best pair for the team.

Gazi Group did not have a problem winning even though the two batsmen returned between two runs. Mahmudullah scored 15 off 12 balls and Yasir Ali scored 13 off 10 balls sailed them to victory. Soumya adjudged man of the match.

Earlier, Rupganj could not take advantage to bat after losing the toss. The team started losing wickets from the first over of the innings. In the end they could not make more than 132 runs for 8 wickets. Mehedi Maruf scored 24 runs off 24 balls. Sohag Gazi scored the second best 21 runs.

Apart from Mahmudullah, Mahedi Hasan and Mukidul Islam took two wickets each.
