The Pakistan cricket team’s departure to England has been pushed back by two days after the Pakistan Super League final was rescheduled for June 24 in Abu Dhabi.
In an online meeting, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and franchise owners discussed the progress achieved in the staging of the remaining 20 PSL 2021 games.
During the session, the PCB decided that the Pakistan team will depart for England on June 25 instead of June 23 as the PSL 2021 will end on June 24 instead of June 20 as per the revised schedule.

Abu Dhabi will host the remaining 20 matches of the PSL after PSL was postponed in March when several players and support staff tested positive for COVID-19.
The Pakistan Cricket Board expects to restart the PSL on June 7 if the UAE government grants clearance on Wednesday for its production team members to begin work on June 5 at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Six franchises' players and team executives arrived in Abu Dhabi last week on chartered planes from Pakistan. Their seven-day isolation period ends Wednesday afternoon, and players will begin training in Abu Dhabi.
