Imrul Kayes tests positive for Covid-19

Bangladesh and Sheikh Jamal Club opening batsman Imrul Kayes has tested positive for Covid-19. The cricketer himself has confirmed it to the Cricfrenzy on Saturday (May 29th).
Imrul underwent the corona test a few more times on Saturday afternoon. Where he has been found positive 3 times after 4 attempts. As a result, the cricketer will not be able to play in the first few rounds of the Dhaka Premier League (DPL).
Imrul confirmed the matter to Cricfrenzy, he said, 'I tested positive in the first test on Friday, again returned negative in the second. I have tested a few more times today,”

“Where the result came positive three out of four times. That's why I can't play in the Premier League at the moment. Hopefully, after recovering, I will be able to play in DPL. I am currently in isolation at home,” Imrul added.
Another DPL player Tushar Imran has also tested positive for coronavirus. A total of 331 people were tested for corona on May 28. Apart from Imrul and Tushar, three other support staff was also founded infected.
The postponed event of Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier League (DPL) will be resuming from May 31. The matches will be held at three venues. The tournament was suspended after one round due to Corona's outbreak last year. Later it was decided the tournament would be held in DPL format.
