Sri Lanka is coming to Bangladesh in the middle of this month to play a three-match ODI series as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 23-member preliminary squad for the upcoming series.

Two stars Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman who are currently playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) have been included in this team. Apart from them, left-arm opener Imrul Kayes has returned to the side.

The 18-member of the last ODI series against West Indies have been included in this preliminary squad. Mosaddek Hossain, Nasum Ahmed and Shahidul Islam are in the primary team with them this time.

Preparations for the Tigers will begin on May 2 ahead of the upcoming ODI series against the Lankans. This practice session will end on May 9.

The cricketers have a break on May 6. After the practice, the cricketers will be on Eid holiday from May 10 to May 16.
