Bangladesh ODI team to practice from May 2

Sri Lanka will visit Bangladesh in the third week of May to play a three-match ODI series as ODI team’s practice will start on May 2 with the cricketers in the preliminary squad against the Lankans.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has already made the preliminary squad for the ICC ODI Super League series. Akram Khan, the head of the BCB's cricket management department, confirmed the matter to the media on Tuesday.

Bangladesh is currently in Sri Lanka to play a two-match Test series. Where the first test is over, the second test of the series will start from April 29. After that, the cricketers in the ODI squad will return to the country and rest for a day or two.
“You know the Bangladesh team is on a tour of Sri Lanka at the moment. We have played one of the two match Test series, the other is left. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka will come to Bangladesh to play ODI next month, we have formed a preliminary squad for that,” said Akram.
Meanwhile, before the Bangladesh team returns from Sri Lanka, the Tigers will start training at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur from May 2. Where the members of the ODI team in the country will start practicing. Akram said that after the Eid holiday, the practice will start in full swing.
“We will start practicing from May 2 with those who are currently in Bangladesh. After a few days of practice, those who are in Sri Lanka will join the ODI squad to practice after a two-day rest. Then after the Eid holiday, we will start practicing for the ODI series in full force” he added.
