Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is ready to play his 50th IPL match for his Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kolkata Knight Riders as KKR to face Mumbai Indians for their second match.
KKR have started this year's IPL with a 10-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad. Shakib has bagged 1 wicket in that match but didn’t have the chance to perform with the bat.

Picked by the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2011, he was an important part of their two title-winning sides in 2012 and 2014. In the 2012 final, his calm cameo at the end helped Kolkata clinch the title. Shakib scored 501 runs in his KKR career, while he grabbed 44 wickets.
In 2018, Shakib had been picked by the Sunrisers Hyderabad. He now returns to Kolkata, where he first tasted IPL success.
KKR has roped him again for INR 3.2 crore from this year’s auction.
